Just a quick thought

I dont know if most of you are aware but a couple of days ago the was Earth Day. Where we as humans were suppose to take some time to appreciate our 'home' ! You know that 'home' that protects us and provides for us... The 'home' which we are destroying!

It is sad indeed when awareness and concern about the state of our planet is confined to a bunch of hippies sitting in the back of their caravans smoking weed and Al Gore(its a pity no one listens to him). From the ordinary man on the street to the high powered executive in his/her shiny ivory toward the environment is a non issue which apparently doesnt affect us.It sickens me that we have been given such a blessing yet we are so indifferent about its protection. And when people (such as Al Gore) try to make us aware of the situation we mock them and overlook there there warnings as merely an Inconvenient Truth.

When the inconvenient truth becomes and inconvenient reality is will be too late for us to do anything and concern about the planet will be as useless as George W Bush on "Are you smarter than a 5th Grader".

a friend of mine once said, 'the world is converging on naan and chai.'

I think he might be right. Maybe the recent escalation in food price is, in some surreal way, mother natures punishment on us ungrateful beings

Let us hope that it does indeed become an INCONVENIENT REALITY... Then maybe most of humanity will die off :)
